An album that is in its essence, art-fucked, this record is both confrontational and tranquil. As sequenced interludes that evoke the feelings of nostalgia, childhood, a deer in the headlights and the nocturnal abyss, separate songs of manic anxiety about trauma, young unrequited love, the redecoration of the past and altered sexuality, the listener is taken down an anti-social road of release through songs that are as dance-able as they are eerie.
